Albany Technical College’s Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Business Logistics Management has concentrations in management, supply chain and logistics, and general core that trains and prepares individuals to enter the logistics world. Individuals have been able to secure employment as supply chain and logistics technicians with the United States Marine Corps Logistics Command, Systems Command, and Maintenance Center. This degree also enable current employees to be more marketable as they seek to advance in their careers.
The AAS in Operations Management concentrates on management and operations skills that enables individuals to further develop their understanding and functionality in any organization that seeks to provide a product to its customers. Included in this degree is the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt specialization that encourage the development of problem solving skills to enable organizations to eliminate waste and defects in processes.
The Bachelor of Applied Science degree (BAS), offered through GMC Online, builds on the skills developed in the completion of the Associate of Applied Science in Logistics or Operations to provide additional career pathways not necessarily available at the associate’s level. These pathways extend beyond the entry level to mid and sometimes upper level managers.
Georgia Military College and Albany Technical College (ATC) signed an articulation agreement to assist with graduates transferring into our Bachelor of Applied Science degrees.
